News you can use:
Happy CMA Week! We know you know this first part: The 45th Annual CMA Awards air this Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 8/7c on ABC! We’ll be there because we’re up for Vocal Duo of the Year (so honored!), and we’re also performing “Run” with our buddy Matt Nathanson. Matt’s a newbie to the country music awards show scene and “Run” is one seriously sexy song, so this should be pretty awesome. Meanwhile, for all of you at home, we’ll be turning on the Sugarlandmusic.com/chat machine at 6pm ET so you can get your chatter on during the red carpet. We hope you’ll come over to the site, bring snacks, and spend the night enjoying the show with your fellow Sugarfans.
And don’t forget that TOMORROW, Tuesday, Nov. 8, Jennifer and Kristian will also be making a special appearance on “In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts” at 10/9c on ABC with an intimate behind-the-scenes interview that you don’t want to miss.
Grammy Whammy If that’s not enough Sugarland on your TV, we’ll also be performing LIVE on the Grammy Awards Nomination special, Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 10pm ET on CBS. Jennifer and Kristian will rock the Nokia Center in downtown Los Angeles alongside Jason Aldean, Lupe Fiasco, Ludacris, and Lady Gaga — and while we can’t give you any details yet, we will simply say that we doubt you’ll be disappointed…
Jingle All the Way But wait there’s more: the VERY NEXT NIGHT, you’ll be able to catch Jennifer hosting the second annual CMA Country Christmas, featuring holiday songs and memories from all your favorite country music superstars (Thurs, Dec. 1 at 9/8c on ABC). If you watched last year, you know what a charming and festive event this will be, so gather the family, pour some eggnog, and sing along!
Many Happy Returns Finally, we’re proud to be featured on two commercials for great causes right now: Applebee’s “Thank You Movement,” celebrating our armed forces this Veteran’s Day; and the American Cancer Society’s fight for less cancer and “More Birthdays.” Watch the spots at ThankYouMovement.com and MoreBirthdays.com, and find out more about how you can support these organizations.
We’ll remind you of all these TV appearances as they get closer, of course, and we’ll have some big announcements coming up about various and sundry things… so stay tuned. And as usual, we welcome any and all guesses about what those sundry things may be. We like hearing the way your minds work.
