  1. Sugarland Saved Me

    Wed, Dec 5, 2012 at 1:06 PM 0 Comments

I can honestly say that I've been TONS happier since my mom and I moved to Huntington Beach. It's like I'm living in a different version of my old hometown of Cleveland. I just love it out here! I was employed just 13 days after we moved in. It's for the holidays, and I'm at will call, but hey, it's better than nothing! I love the weather. In the city I used to live in, it was always hot, even...

  2. Agua Caliente May 25th

    Sat, May 26, 2012 at 1:32 PM 3 Comments

On May 25th, 2012, music happened. I attended my first Sugarland show in two and a half years. My mom and I left around 1:15pm and we arrived at Agua Caliente around 3ish. We had a TON of time before 9pm, so we walked around. A LOT. Time actually seemed to go pretty quickly. The only thing I had to eat was an order of fries…I was too anxious to eat. I met a fanclub member, John and he gave...

  5. Sugarland Dreams

    Sat, Nov 19, 2011 at 8:30 PM 4 Comments

I keep having dreams about meeting Sugarland. The most recent, I was hugging Jennifer and she put her face to mine. I hope my dreams come true someday!

  6. This trip would lift my spirits graciously. I missed out on Los Angeles and she wouldn't allow me to go to Vegas so this is my last shot because who knows if they'll be on tour next year? Meeting my Sugarfamily would be awesome as well. I don't get a chance to much but this....would really make my year.

  7. Two Years

    Mon, Aug 29, 2011 at 4:47 PM 2 Comments

Today marks two years since my mom and I moved to California. Even though I've always wanted to live here, I hate the city I'm in. Not very diverse, can't find a job to save my life and my aunt and uncle don't give two hoots about us. I really hope this is the start of a new beginning, a new life. I'd love to wake up and find out we're moving. I just want to enjoy living here and not have to...

  8. No doubt that they have kept strong through this whole ordeal and have been incredibly supportive to the victims and their families, but I really want to hug them--just to shine the light on them.

  9. ecard for Karen and Josh Brunn

    Wed, Aug 17, 2011 at 11:46 PM 9 Comments

Im making an ecard for fellow fanclub member Karen and her son Josh who we're injured. If you'd like to sign, leave your message as a comment. You can also just leave your names well (just your first) Hope to send it by Saturday.

  10. As far back as I can remember, I've always been judged for the music I like. Because I'm black, my peers growing up expected me to like rap and hip hop and R&B. Well, I don't, except for a few songs here and there. I've always loved pop and soft rock and was a total teenybopper from 1998 til 2001. ('N Sync FTW!) I'm very much ecceletic in my music tastes. And now, occasionally, I'm judged for...
