Tolerance
Last week was tolerance week at our school. Someone of the students wrote on a peice of paper in invisible ink and it was almost exactly like the little miss project, then they set up black lights and we were able to read stories of the students. I got to thinking, why are somepeople so unaccepting of others. Why does it seem like their goals are to make people feel so horrible about themselves and so alone in life. Tolerance isnt just a word used to put up with people, it is a word used to accept and love and appreciate people for who they are even if they are different than us. At school many tease the student with special needs, they are just the same as us, we all have challenges, we are just able to hide them inside, where as they cant, they should be applauded not teased. There are many things that are similar between us, but soooooo many things that make us individual and make up who we are! I dont think any of that should be hidden! If someone cant appreciate you for who you are, then they obviously arent the best person to be around."I think if you are brave enough to be yourself, I think that is a huge risk and should be applauded." i hope that no matter what you guys always remember that "you are enough, that you are worthy, that perfect is completely boring and, most of all, that it'll be all right again." YOU ARE LOVED!!!

Good blog, girl! We all need to be reminded that being different is a good thing, that our kids/nieces/nephews, etc, look to us to set a good example and that above all, each and every one of us deserves to be loved. Thanks for sharing with us!!

Bailey, you have such a beautiful spirit and loving heart, and are wise beyond your years. You blog is wonderful...if we all could just feel empathy for those around us...kids, senior citizens, rich, poor, popular, lonely...really pause and try to imagine how that other person might be feeling at the very moment of time, our world would be so much better. Love can overcome so much, but far too few people take time to care. You, Bailey, really do care...and I'm so glad to have met you and that you share your spirit here with us =)
